About Me

Hello! I'm Kim Swanson.

Kim is an award-winning Casting Director. She has cast over 1000 projects nationwide and internationally, including award-winning feature films, popular TV shows, music videos, iconic commercials and print projects. Now based in L.A. while maintaining an office in the Midwest, she casts worldwide, in large and small markets, alike.

Kim started in “the biz” as an actor, dancer and choreographer, and began her casting career in the Midwest. She is known for her ability to discover exceptional talent and loves finding the needle in the haystack. Now a member of the National Television Academy, she was also one of the first regional Casting Directors outside of NYC or LA to become a member of the Casting Society of America. Kim has served two full terms on the National Board of Directors for the Casting Society of America (CSA) and was elected by her peers, demonstrating her leadership and influence within the casting community.
